I managed to implement this tonight and it worked for a number of things I put on my Windows 10 laptop.

This link will provide you with some guidance on getting dll files.

You will however, need to first install otvdm. You can find a legit link using it on Google and it installed on my device. This lead to games being recognised on my device.

However when opening any games, it will advise you of dll files missing. One game produced an error message advising a dll file missing. This one was KNPS.DLL. I searched this on Google and found a valid link to download it from and put it in the games folder.

For example if your game is in the folder C:\CK2000 and you run it and it advises KNPS.DLL is missing, download this and extract it to the folder your game is in. If no dll files are missing, it should run correctly. All this stuff runs for me.

PM me if you want any guidance on getting Windows 95 / 3.1 games on a Win 10 laptop.
