Sorry but backwards compatiablity is far far better than using the old system

If i remember correctly approx 95% of x-box games will work on the Xbox 360 (including Halo 2 which is the only game i would really care about being on 360) This is what they were quoted as saying (i think it was quoted by gamespot)
