Upgrade to VB3

in light of recent events, we have decided to upgrade LOMCN to vBulletin version 3.

This is more secure, alot newer and looks nicer

(it also gives us admins a lot more fun little toys to play with :P)


I'll be working on readding any hacks into it that are deemed as "needed" and anything else ncie i see whilst looking for the vb3 verison of the hacks..

of course there will be some downtime during the upgrade, but hopefully nothing major.

after the upgrade probably untill the weekend and the altest, http://www.lomcn.co.uk will redirect to http://www.lomcn.co.uk/forum untill a homepage replacement is found.

lastly, the themes dissapear with the old VB, but hopefully we will be able to find some good VB3 themes to replace them

should only take 5 mins to upgrade its wht he does after tht will be the time question. Some skins will still work after upgrade u just may need to move some of the files.

Mhhh, should've gone with vB 2.3.4 in my opinion.

You'll find hacks a lot harder to find for vB3, and decent skins, well, you try finding them.

Actually there are alot of decent hacks for vb3 including Arcade. The new arcade is one of the best hacks around

I like vB3, but i h8 this default skin. Good upgrade though
