Ok yesterday I looked in newspaper just before I went to go buy it and heard there are several bugs and would need to be fixed on a daily bases just wondering if what I've read is true.
Worth buying windows 7?

theres always bugs on every OS. they'll never ever be completely bug free. ive been running 7 for the last 3 months and havnt noticed anything major, just a few app crashes which is normal for any windows OS.
id recommend getting it now whilst its at such a low price, i doubt they'll almost be giving it away in a few months time.

why not when its this cheap? i dont pay for games/films because its a rip off in the uk. but for an OS id much rather have the official version.
Buy windows 7, im gonna start posting subliminal messages on the forum so win you think about buying it you will :P
Its worth it. Had it for about 2 months because im a microsoft technet subscriber. Here theres a discount if your in school/uni/college and get it for somewhere around $35. Premium that is, not ultimate.
I've been using Ultimate for a few months now and as far as OS's go, it's bloody worth the money (though if you can get around paying for it, obviously do so - However, as listed above it's cheap as chips, so why not pay for it?). Excellent OS for things as simple as the driver support, there's a bundle of things that I'll probably never even use, but I'm sure there's nice to have anyway.

microsoft will eventually crack down on pirated systems, if i have an illegal OS they can easily bring out an update and shut off my computer. so when it comes to something which im reliant on everyday, and not something which i can just uninstall if it stops working, id much rather have an official version.
Because, you will be using an activator or a bogus serial, both of which eventually get found out in updates and your computer fluffs up.
Secondly, when if i break into your house and steal your computer, is that ok, you seem to be of the belief as because its software is isnt really stealing!
Thirdly, if you are downloading it, illegaly and using some bogus activator or serial, then when you will have to never update the OS to be safe.
And fourthly, £40 or some outrageous price for apples os?.... haha
