lol, you obviously don't live in rural Laos! I dream of 200 MB in 5 mins! :) Although, I must admit the Internet is far faster here than it used to be and it won't take more than an hour or two for 200 meg, presuming it goes top speed anyway!

The Client is an "official updater" isn't it? It downloads all the other files and a new client.exe, renaming the old one OldClient etc, just not the ones I mentioned, so I presumed it was.... However, while I do my best, I'm not a complete computer whizzkid so may have misunderstood the whole...

This is exactly what I've been looking for after the eventual shambles Galaxy turned out to be. Once Ben joined Galaxy I thought it would be even better, and it was (Rift et al), but we all know what happened after that and, now that Ben is doing his own server, I'm very much planning to do what...

Glad to hear that it will be a wipe so we can properly test and report without having to worry. :) Also, glad to hear that it seems like (from what I can glean so far anyway...) it won't be the nonsensical PvP mess that Galaxy was when a player of exactly the same level can one-hit PK another...

It wasn't the quantity of money I was referring to, the amount involved is irrelevant to me. It was the principle of anyone buying a load of MirCoins, presumably never expecting to get them back, and then not even using them! Oh well, each to their own. Not really any of my business so apologies...

Thanks Ben for keeping us updated even though it really doesn't sound like good news to be honest. Are you still actually working on the expansion just in case it does go ahead or is it on the back burner until you can talk with Luke about what's going on? Oh well, I will remain my...

I also agree. I paid for a month's VIP, used it, bought a couple of frivolous things, and used them, why should I then claim the money back when I've had what I paid for? It shouldn't even be possible... I did it to help fund the server I was playing on since I was enjoying it...and still am...

Can Luke, Ava or Ben just please say if the server is dead or not? Are you still planning the expansion? If it is dead then, fair enough, such is life! Just tell us... There are only a few players still going but a lot log in every day to see if anything's changed but we haven't heard a single...
