thanks, but i should have mentioned i tried this before. the socks server at the university were closed due to downloading abuse from the halls of residence, partly my fault lol. the programs like http-tunnel etc allow connection through the proxy server for programs like kazaa mirc msn etc etc...

Is it possible to access mir through a proxy server, im currently on my university dialup service which requires a proxy to access the internet. ive so far been unable to get it to work using http-tunnel and hopster programs. if anybody can provide constructive advice or confirm im wasting my...
