DDOS = Denial of Service Attack, and the forums is not ddosed, but mainly overloaded by the page requests (kind of ddos). DDOS is when you ask server so many requests that he cannot respond to you / others....making the service undeliverable.

I`ll check when i get home, but at the moment from what i know, there is not problem on windows 8 pro. I can write commands etc and can see everything on chat. But i`ll double check.

The client runs on Windows 8. I am testing client from around 2 weeks on windows 8 and runs smooth and with not problems. Also the light system is impressive, the most advanced and nice looking that has been to date in mir2/mir3.

Hey guys, just host a server professionally, keep it online for a minimum of 2 years, not home on our dad`s pc or whatever, try to get professional as you can, try to not make money of it, try to balance everything as official, listen to no1 about how a server should be! implement your ideas...

@hershire Sorry but I have no time now for mir2. I have resources to host a server to for years with almost 0 costs, I also own www.legendofmir.eu :)) BUT who knows what will happen in the future. Anyhow, I`ll make it my way, even if no1 will be online :)))

@petesn00beh mir2 was designed for low rate....it was designed to explore all caves from Oma caves to Zuma etc...in order to have fun, you must pass trough all the stages.....ppl want fency trandy stuff but actually they miss the fun of it. Mir2 is about team playing and hunting and exploring...

Making money from a mirserver is not ok! especially if it is not your work, I mean, you did not invented the game. I think is ok to raise funds to cover the expenses of the actual server, but need to be without items and levels in exchange, also the Gm should post the expenses and stop getting...
