2.6 Server Files {Release}

As the server files differ to the 2.3 slightly - What IP's would I need to change to host the server online?
(If it has already been mentioned in thread sorry - but cba reading 20 pages)

This gale text error, ive fixed the galenecklace now says A.speed but iam lost about the galering ?

I know a few of you have said yours says amc but mines saying ac ?
what db setting are you useing ?

Anyways on the setting iam useing if i make the ac to speed it changes the helms in game so something is very wrong lol

Unfortunately I have looked at guides for 2.3 online and people seem to be contradicting one and other. i.e. someone suggested changing all ip's to inernet ip, then another chap said change only 3 (but didnt say which ones).

I have setup a 2.3 server before - and there seems to be more ip's in the txt files for 2.6 (But it was a while ago and have forgotten most of it)

So before I go messing around with these files is there anyone (Who has hosted 2.6 files online) who could quickly tell me or pm me the ip's I need to change. Much appreciated.

The normal db show's AC like you have, the ones showing AMC is because they removed the 2 from the field MAX_AC or MAX_AMC can't remember now, but go with your DB coz it's the right one.. AC

if any1 can help me should the hum file in data folder read past 15 (bluedarkarmour) or should i start puting new armours in graphics i know in 2.3 it does cheers in advance

I cant see any client files to change to point the client in another direction other than 127.0.0.1 or is that hard coded into the mir2 exe?

Its setup now for offline play (lan) if your on a router all you need to do is change the mir ini for the client to your router ip thats it.

Nothing ip wise is hard coded.


@ grahamb, ive seen that error ages ago on some other files i had, cant remember what the error means now tho.

I carnt seem to change the exp in m2server/options/game/exp tab they goto lvl 500 then 501 is set to 7exp iv changed the exp's in the m2server folder to see if this will sort it but it hasent is this somethin u need to code in lifco cheers

Your server must be really high rate? :P

bug found...

When you are to heavy and make a trade with another player, after you press the deal button items dissapear but the weight is still there, you must logout and login to go normal.

Have you tried clicking a pot or something, that happens on most servers. By clicking a pot it usually just goes back normal.
