About new map formats

I've had a brief look, I mean only about 30 mins. I can't find a width or height in the header, file sizes are bigger and there are a LOT of repetitive bytes. That's all I know so far.

Weirdly I saw the 2 bytes with a constant (check Byte) and then another 2 bytes. But the values returned were non sensical, are they themselves encrypted?

yeh, the map info is many 2 bytes
