The point here is one of parental responsibility again!, parents should be responsible for what there kids eat, access and do, but because most parents these days seem to be unfit to do this they harass the government into becoming mother hen, meaning stupid intiatives such as this are put forward, just as salads were put into fast food restaurants, and why idiots keep saying voilent video games warp young minds, then why the **** as a parent aren't you making sure they don't do that, this rant isn't aimed at just porn lord knows I like to wack off now and again to some vicious brazilian scat, just summing up if you can't look after the spawn you've produced in a sensible manner then don't bother, now I'm off to form a group in protest of the Oboe, it produces satanist music and I want the government to do something about it.

"Vicious brazilian scat", lmfao!

I agrea with the others, This is a totaly stupid idea!
As a parent its your job to make sure your kids dont watch things you dont want them to on the internet..
There is plenty of software out there that can stop them from accsessing these sites...
The only thing there isnt enough of on this subject is the parents with the knowlege on how to use these programs...
But saying that... if you cant be botherd to work out how to use a parent controll program and moan at the government for them to do sumit about it, Then the simple truth is... Bad Parenting

And on anothet note... the only reason these kids know of such sites is cuz one of the parents didnt hide there porn mag stash well enough.
Or thay found a link saved to favourites, left by a drunk parent or some silly scenario.
And tbh... if thay didnt watch and see porn on the internet then how the hell would thay learn half of this stuff ?? i duno about the schools you guys went to but Sex Ed in my school wasnt even worth going to... Sum old guy reading " the birds and the Bees "

I can't wait until they pass one of these redicolous laws because it's gonna' cause a bigger riot than the one over the tuition fee's!
Yep... take a moment and think about just how many people use the internet for porn... That riot will go down in the history books tbh.

If you could just phone in to remove your higher fees for uni, I highly doubt there would've been protests.

It's the stuff they're putting in mechanically separated chicken now-a-days I say! If you advise your children in the proper manner of what sex is and how it is organized into the whole no sex before marriage. Are we sending a wrong message to our children trying to hide what Adam and Eve could not, bye being nude? Kids are going to experiment, the only thing you can do is guide them in the best direction possible. Preach what you practice, and practice what you preach is my philosophy.

Will page 3 of the sun be promoting "Dont do drugs" and "Stay in school kids", unless you request the EXPLICIT version of the page 3 sun, just in case by some miracle a child under the age of 16 purchases a sun?

Pointless, kids need to know where to put it, otherwise it could be a very dry and smelly experience on their first time.

No, it's the parents who are incapable of thinking for themselves and can't bring their kids up right and live on council estates that need the help.

Most parents have the common sense to find out about how to apply parental controls etc.

Well actually, I was brought up on a council estate and I've always had the freedom to do as I wish. Obviously, if I was looking at porn when young, my parents didnt know, but thats the good thing. Being "allowed" to do it makes it a lot less interesting then if it was restricted. Thats where the rebeling comes in.

Teach your kids right from wrong, respect and common sense and you wont go wrong. Council estate or not.

You will actually find, it's the barbaric idiotic Christian religious nuts that actually want this law passed, they have always tried things like this and it's always failed. As for the comment over council estates, at least it's not them that are moaning about the fact kids can view porn. Roll on when IPV6 is fully up and running, will be no need to filter out anything then....
