Intel are currently outperforming AMD by quite a long way I think. You just kinda made a mistake ;o

your stubborn nature just cost you some decent performance, congratulations.

Next time you decide you want to buy computer parts, keep an open mind, seriously.

any reason behind your AMD>Intel statement
or are AMD just better because you are running one?

Well i've always found AMD to be better for gaming, although tha last intel chip i ran was a 3.0Ghz p4 socket 775(i think thats the right socket aint it?) I dunno, i just always go with AMD now

I got a DC opteron in my system. Last week I built my brother his new computer. It has a Core 2 Duo. Either the Intel CPU really is pretty bad ass, or I hate my brother and want to give him sub par performance. Or I hate him but it's one helluva CPU.

ive got an amd 64 4000+ sandiago core im not going to upgrade to x2 anytime soon, but that sounds like a really good price tbh considering how much this cpu cost me a year ago

Wrong decision.

A little more would've got you a nice 800FSB E4300 - overclocks like a BEAST.
