I thought i had fixed it but no ......... :(
No matter what i do, mining does not give out blackironore.

I have checked in eiserver.exe for blackstone and did find one entry that said bstone which i corrrected.

My !setup.txt also has:

blackstone=blackironore

I just cant seem to suss this out.

I have tried many times to get another copy of eiserver.exe but no one seems to have one that is fixed I can find.

Not that it matters but copper ore dont work either.

BTW mine is old MSRF one.

Has someone got a eiserver.exe that works with blackironore and mining please :)

Or possibly a copy of the relevent hex entries needed to make blackore work please

Thanks.

I have looked into eiserver.exe it mentions blackstone, goldstone, silverstone, copperstone, steel stone.
@
0009e240:

In !setup.txt this is converted to:

Blackstone = BlackIronOre
CopperStone= CopperOre

and so on...

If I search in eiserver.exe for any further entries of copper or black ore (bearing in mind neither of these drop in the mines on my server) I find different entries depending on which eiserver.exe i search.

0005d10h: blackore
0005d20h: coppore

or in another eiserver.exe

0005d10h: BOre
0005d20h: Copper

I cant undertstand why these are different and also why it is these two items i have trouble with. and why these are also found separate. Yet gold or any of the other ores dont have a extra entry like the copper and the blackiron ore.

If poss could someone checkout their own eiserver at these points and give me the hex details please.
Thanks

I have managed to fix this now.
In eiserver.exe check for an entry using an hex editor that mentions:

0005d10h: BlackOre
0005d20h: CoppOre

If this is how they are spelt then go to your !setup.txt ans look for the entries

Blackstone =
Copperstone=

Change the entries to match how it is in your eiserver.exe

Blackstone =BlackOre
Copperstone=CoppOre

Then do the same in your Items database.

Mine now works and the blacksmith accepts Blackore and refines ok now.
