Blue screen Error

Computer randomly switches to blue screen and i get this error message

0x000000D1 (0X000001F7, 0x00000005, 0X00000008, 0x000001F7)

Don't mind if you just give me a link to a site i can get information on it, but i searched google with the message and it didn't find anything helpful to my specific situation.

totally random? not when your doing anything specific? like playing games or anything?

alot of the time blue screen is just due to the pc overheating, so crashes to save itself from damage (well it thinks crashing will save it)

Well iv had it while im playing Mir a few times.

Had it while doing a adaware scan

Had it while iv just been browsing forums

Going to format though, just can't be bothered messing around with it.

Mine also done this, Went to a blue screen with alot off information then it would restart it self,

I had to format my pc tho. could never find out whats wrong with it.

this can be caused due to hardware problems mainly. first of all set the bios to it's default settings and if you have overclocked the cpu also put that back to it's default clock speed and see if it then runs without getting the BSOD

Theres enough information there to suggest hardware driver fault.

I searched my exact error, and i got nothing from google, i found ones like it, but i didn't know how this thing worked. So i couldn't really work out my exact problem to as what i had to do.

I ended up formating my pc.

Theres no need for the sarcy comment about the Reset CMOS too. Fag

@Tofas get you this Message : DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
or is the Text Message same Random ?
If it this Message Text, Test all your USB Devices and if is Random Check your HDD (Harddrive). If all this not Helping then Check all things you have change before you have get this Problem. Most of all the Blue Screens are Hardware Driver with corrupt IRQ ...

I formated my pc now, so its all working tip top shape.

At the time of me testing my computer for the blue screens i only had my mouse and keyboard reciever in the usb though.

and it was the error message you mentioned.

Apparantly "they" call it the "blue screen of death" lol... but i used to get that too, tried everything but had to buy a new pc.
