[CD3.55] Book Prices data??

Hello all, Where does it hold the data for book prices? Ive changed all the STD_Items data to reflec how much books should cost, but when i sell them it comes up with completely diff prices.. Does it hold this info somewhere else?

I.e Assault(manual) in items set at 20000

When i get book from drop or make and sell to shop sale price 101274...

You can set a % of what items are worth when sold to the shop. Is that set really high?

Its set at 100% i havent changed it :-

some books sell as they should others go in way over what ive set price at.. dont really understand why

I thought book prices kind of hard coded based on their age/dura, similar to ore.

maybe right because the price is correct when bought and sold from a shop.. its only the ones that drop that tend to go way off price so, probably like you say due to age and dura even thou they are manuals..

You're probably right Sean, I had forgotten the price fluctuations.

In tbl_stditems find assault and it will be obvious from there.

Look at a few other books and there will be a setting in there where it is all different, That will relate to the price. Thats how I changed all the armors/pots/books etc on Amtek.


Once youve done it you may need to delete the market_saved .sav file and then @reloaddefaultnpc/@reloadnpc.
