You need someone to train against, The correct equipment, And a strict diet first.

No.

You need a trainer, you need someone to spar against.

Its all good learning how to punch, getting accuracy and speed... but what about your defense? How are you going to train that?

So you wanna be a boxer.................?

In the golden ring
Can you punch like a south-bound freight train
Tell me just one thing

Can you move in a whirl like a humming bird's wing
If you need to
Can you bob, can you weave
Can you fake, and deceive when you need to?

Well, you might as well quit
If you haven't got it

Thats like getting someone who has never played football, to train you to become a professional footballer...

One question for you? Why boxing, Not going to say its not useful, but i can think of many more fighting techniques that are alot more useful, depending on what you would want to do, brazilian jujitsu,Aikido,Mauy Thai. it also all depends how much effort your willing to put into it.

Having a punch bag, speed ball ect won't make you a boxer, it takes years to become a professional or to even be half good at it, still you need to have diciplin,a good diet and be able to train hard for long periods of time :)
