Heyas few people on my server have been getting increased latency and server disconnects did some digging and found this:

Guess BT has been having problems since friday when some punks stole a bunch of fibre optic cable. For those using other isp's and connecting to an overseas server like mine you might also have increased latency as almost all overseas routing from the uk to usa is thru BT, the latency is due to the amount of re routes around these affected areas also resulting in corrupt or lost packets.
