Pretty sure i seen a thread around here on how to de-restric this, could just be seeing things.
Anyone know if this is possible, If so how?

(BT Limit you Peer 2 Peer, E.g. Torrent downloading etc)

Pretty sure there's no way. I'm on a BT Business line and I still get torrent capped when I shouldn't.

Isnt it the same as Virgin?
I get restricted if i download more than 2gb during peak times 8am-9pm?

If so then answer to ur question, download during off peak times lol

Damn, it sucks so much. Having a half decent internet connection, and not being able to use it the majority of the time.

It seems to be ok some times though. I read on the BT forums that apparently they only throttle it between 4pm - 12am. Can't see why they would only cap it at certain times.

That is correct. I just download my torrents overnight.

BT fup is gone, as mentioned above they try to restrict your p2p traffic during peak times.

To get around it turn on; randomism port each start and enable protocol encryption (utorrent settings).

been using the above method for thew last 3 months with no problems
