Ruby Connection cancelled by unexpected problem in server

hi i moved my server to my other pc now when i go to the log in page i put password in and username in then this comes up Connection cancelled by unexpected problem in server. what dose this mean this is whats in my M2Server

Check your ftp.ini file in your client folder, make sure the server name is correct

It seemed to be right, is that the only thing it can be? Is there any link where I can get an up to date Mir.exe and the ftp and Mir ini

I am using Korean Mir I downloaded. Is there anything I need to delete or.change in the client.

I'm using them files all ready. I mite just delete the server try get an up to date server download and just do it again. This is doing my head in

Check your ODBC is able to connect to your SQL database.
If your problem is like the original post, the SQL server name might (will) be different, based on the name of the computer.

Don't delete the whole server, it's a bit like getting a new car because a brake light has blown.

how will i check this? my server is up and running, just cant get on it from the client, i think i will just go all the way back thru the set up and see what ive done wrong, when im settinmg up the odbc for the gates the details i put in dont seem to save and i have to do it each time the server starts up, could this be a problem?

Ok I binned the server files downloaded the new up to date files and set it up. Server is up and running and I'm still getting this error. Does anyone have a solution please

Hello, I am getting the same error. Did you solve it? I downloaded the korean client too. I changed the ini files, server name etc and nothing.

P.D: What is ritem.dat file? I copied the file to the client because the exe asked for it.


Solved.

It was a wrong sql IP.
