CPU fan error

I put in a graphics card other day, took off cover, ever since its been saying CPU fan error.

Just wondering whys this? also found a de-perofrmance in m pc, could this be why? i slotted the cover back over top of it thinking nout about it.... so any ideas people? ty

you may have knocked a wire out of place on the fan or something or something. Just open the case and have a look for any lose wires

Make sure the CPU's fan is plugged into the power slot labeled something similar to "CPU Fan 1".

Hmmm, you think he could mean PC has slowed down?? maybeh the motherboard or something is over heating? not sure tho lal :P

if the fan aint plugged in properly, then chances are the CPU has slowed itself down so that it doesn't overheat
