hey peeps been trying to figure out whats wrong but no idea tryed every thing i can think of never had this befor so not sure what to do please help driving me in sane ><

yup to the letter

i got .net 4.0

changed the bits n bobs

but when i try to open the gate on db and login server wont connect

And is this stopping you from completing the start up fully? Only thing i can think of looking at that error is a file is in the wrong place of a directory is wrong..

yeh wont load get connection closed as the login serv wont open gate
will take another look tbh then report bk in min

are u using these files i ashume u are...

Reporting bk erm think am missing some text files because in the guide it says
about change 2 text filesi dont have msgservaddr & logserveraddr no idea where they are not even in the files i downloaded

Ye im using these files, few bugs etc in them, but im sure they'l get ironed out eventually, hopefully!

btw sorted that problem

problem now i am been refused admission o.0 is that to do with the addmission .txt in server folder?

i cant get past char sel screen now ><

Sorted this as well was connecting to fast befor Gate was working propley

This is probably due to not changing all of the ip's in SQL, make sure you double check EVERY file/table in SQL so the ip's and server names are correct.

if you still get the error all i did was turn off was the UAC go in to controle panel, user account, assumeing you the admin just click change user account control settings and put it to never notify that will sort it out completely all i had to do ... oh and make sure you dont turn it back on or it will do the same error over again
