every now and then i get a DB wait error , any1 know why ? server is fine for about 2-3 hours then bam the cruel dragon and holley control panel goes white andu h vae to wait 10 seconds for it to regain responsivness ..

It is your Database, with new SQLServer and some CPUs you need a Patch for the CPU to Syncrone the Timer (is a known bug on some CPUs and you get the patch by your CPU Company).
Other is, if you have the SQL Server on the same PC / Server with low power (to littel RAM / CPU) then the error occurs same.

4gb 100gb ram won't make a difference.
db wait error is cpu related.
If all YES:
1. cpu is 100% during those error?
2. running db server, game server on 1 computer?
you have to tune your game server to use a lower priority so that your db server won't choke.
how? task manager in the process tab.

crueldragon exe was set to highest priority and still got unresponsiveness and also got these errors
