No idea about vista, but ive tested my PC with and without blinds and it boots up no slower and games launch no slower.

But on a slow machine I dunno, but if you had a slow machine I would hardly recommend Vista anyway.

What do you mean by **** resolution?

My resolution is 1600x1200, which is the max my 19" CRT will give out. If mine would go any higher I would put it higher, as I like heavey resolutions for doing Graphic Design & Video Editing.

Yeah, cos i ressized it in photoshop so it wasnt too big. Its approx 75% of the full resolution.

Then why resize your desktop, then comment on a statement I made about everybodies resolution when your not posting your full one... Besides I didn't aim it just at you, mainly at Daneo & 2f2f's 1024 x 768.

So it wasnt to big, as I said! And my comment (which im perfectly at liberty to make) was to ask what you thought was wrong with the resolutions, how the hell was I supposed to know that you had checked the image properties to get your information. I can see from the photos which are high and low resolutions without looking at the image properties, because the image properties only tell you how big the image is, not the depth of the resolution at the end of the day.
