Disk Defragmenter

Could any1 help with a slight problem i have with disk defragmenter, my computer has lost alot of memory space and alot of people are recommending a disk defrag, ive never done one before, ive tried to though, every time i start to defrag, and error comes up saying run CHKDSK or scandisk to fix this problem, ive doen that several times but the same error still comes up, could any1 help?

There is a way to disable dskcheck i think, search on google etc...i am not sure if that will allow disk defragment to work though.

Disk defrag will not help you regain 'lost' hard drive or memory space.

To do that you will need to uninstall programs.

it wont do that ither m8 lol. as iv found out from doing this on my comp its made it up 2 90% worse than wot it was b4

yes it will clean up an old HDD abit and will make your computer run faster, because.... ive done it before, now can some1 just tell me how to fix this error instead of telling what it can and cannot do
