For xmas I got a new pc and im havin some screen problems.

Its only just lately I have noticed writing on the screen is quite blury and doesnt look normal.

and its as if it shows a slite shaddow on anything bright on the screen =/

I have tried moving the monitor cable in the comp but no luck, it can't be the screen over heatin cos I can only have the comp on for about half an hour and it starts the blurryness :brows:

Would be v happy if any1 could help me

Just be interesting to know what it is lol

Wrong resolution?

1280x1024 screen at 1024x768 tends todo that.

Does the shadow still occur when you change the resolution to 1024*768?

If so then its probably either a faulty monitor or a faultly cable. If the cable is DVI-D then its not that. However if the cable is VGA or DVI (Analog) its quite possible. Replace the cable with something else.

You may also want to try the monitor on another computer (away from your own). To see if its an interference issue.

ok just tried changing the rez to 1024x768 and it still occurs.


Also tried it on an other pc and it is fine on it, all I have on my desk is speakers and the wireless adapter and the tower under my desk.

I did notice as soon as I would let go of the screen wire, after bout 10mins It will start to blure up =/

I dont really wna format my pc bcoz I have over 150Gigz+ That I dont want to lose:dunce:
