Is it possible to:

a: select a particular item and double/half its drop rate only throughout the database?

b: have a search and replace function on item name?

a) You can search and remove.. then additem with half its drop rate.

b) As above, you can search and remove.. then additem.. so its sort of in, just have to do it in 2 stages.
