hi all, just 1 problem, all ips setup right, just wen i load up king server i put in password and i get this little red box at the top left off my screen and it just hangs there, any help please?

hey ive had that problem to solve it do the following
Check all your ips are correct in your files
make sure your sql is setup correct and that the sa pass in the files is correct
check all your sa passwords in the files
check all server names in files also
then make sure that the odbc is setup right as all these causes a red box in the left top corner with chinese writing in as ive had it several times before
also boot order is
Login Server > DBServer > LoginGate > Selgate > Rungate1 > Rungate2 > EI Server EXE
and that should solve the problem

if all ips are 127.0.0.1 in all the files and the !setup.txt and in the plus_setup.txt you ei exe will load

if thats all your getting in the console than you have missed some ips or servernames in the database check the rareitems parts for server name in the database also check everywhere else for the server names also and make sure that all your gates are configured right also

this program here will set all your ips correctly and some server names also however u will need to go back into the plus_setup.txt and chnage the brandname back to your server name after but it will solve your problem

i could but ive not gotten much further with my files atm would be better getting another person as ive got all my ips set correct but as soon as i login myn it freezes so i gotta test myn on a different pc soon but i could take a look if you want

If your getting stuck at the localtable 127.0.0.1, the reason it's hangin is possibly due to Setup.txt being cofigured wrong.
