getting this error when i start dbsvr up, any ideas on how to sort it?

also getting this come up when i start loginsvr. any ideas?

open your db's config... you probably have the IP/port wrong.

what set up guide? i've read the LSguide still not any closer to gettin a running server. Can't seem to find the right setup no matter what i do, all people do is tell me, read this guide, read that guide, but they don't explain errors and how to fix them. i haven't changed any ports for anything on my server set up, only the ip's and still getting this problem. my ip's are all fine. Still getting same errors though.

Now I'm opening the CD.exe and it just closes after i click on this error. No idea what this error is about :S

Congig screens for dbsvr and loginsvr... IP is there but deleted from screen...

why are you hiding your IP?

it is 127.0.0.1

lol just habit i guess and no its not... it was set as my actual ip for my isp

okay... then here's my suggestion...

All IP = 127.0.0.1

if it works, then you switch to your net ip or lan ip.

crueldragon3g.ini details are fine, so still no idea whats causing this. and yes the other problems seem ok, connecting ok at least now. just got that same txt on loginsvr when i start it up, no idea what its all about.

Looks like an ODBC or IP Error to me.. follow my IP guide in the Sticky thread, and make sure you have set up the ODBC correctly as per the Guide.

just rechecked all the ip's they are fine. just checking obdc hope thats ok too :S

is not related to ODBC

it connects directly with the SQL Server

so... make sure you can connect to 127.0.0.1 port 1433 with your sa and your sa's password. You can test it with my "Mir 3 Setup Checker"

(Sounds stupid but mostly working) make it again from step 1

Mostly its easier and faster to make it again from beginning as to search an error that will not be found hehe. I know with from my own experience Ill searched an error 3 days and didnt found him. than i kill all and make all new again from step one (needed time was 2 hours) and all was working. So for now ill know if something will not work i start new before i search the error now i need not 1 hour to make a lom server new

sql report from mir setup checker. any idea how to sort it?

do i have to have all the bits like loginsvr etc running for port check?

I think you need to install/modify java to install the "Support for Additional Languages"

are your servers running?

They should be running while running the port check.

ah i wasn't sure if the servers had to be running or not during the port check as i did ask before i tried it lol. i'll try it again on server pc later with servers running
