F2P in Korea & Japan

Tera is going F2P in Korea and Japan, no information on EU/NA will be going F2P but you can pretty much guarantee it will happen.

So i wouldn't recommend subscribing to Tera for now.

They'll still charge for the client, so it'll be like guild wars.

you can just download the trial client and crack that though?

Tera is only $5 on Amazon.com for the NA version. Bought it in anticipation for F2P.

The founder status game play doesn't seem to bad as F2P, and seeing as I got my copy ages ago I may make a return when this goes live ^^

founder is basically what subscribers get now (with addition to a new mount) which is pretty cool.

i dont think i'll likely rejoin even after it goes free. wouldn't want to go through and level another character again, and end game features just aren't enough to keep me playing.

love the combat system, but there was just something missing in the game that i cant put my finger on.

It will gain a ton of players like Aion did but the grind was so boring, don't think i could do it again, like Farphit said,something is missing in Tera, really lacks content if you ask me, once you hit max all you do is daily quests then log off, Or spend hours and hours of farming materials for crafting, making gold was bloody hard aswell.

I had a go since it went F2P and it's still a little boring tbh, they changed a few things but no massive changes, i gave battlegrounds ago and it's not very good at all tbh, something about Tera combat and PVP which just doesn't work for me.

Also did one of the new instances and that was far too easy from what i remember, you could actually run past mobs straight to boss, can't remember the name of the instances but it dropped tier 13 stuff.

It's good..too bad u need to wait from like 30min to 4h to log on..cuz serv is always full

Servers are now live free of lag, only when nexus is online.. im playing there on Kilian - pvp (eu) /w Vespino

f2p on all areas
