Like what I see so far. Have they done away with the turn based system?

I'd say Turn Based is dead on mainline FF games, play Bravely Default, Chaos Rings and the iOS FF games if you want a turn based Final Fantasy game from Square.

Or download the originals ff7/8/9 on psvita. They renewed the ff7 on pc so it will work on newwer machines aswell. But i think its a mistake them moving away. But ultimatly its their choice lol

They're looking into moving back into it possibly due to how well bravely default sold, that was the last news I heard about it, but that'll be after XV as it's been in production for over 3 years. [It was originally FF Versus].

I don't know anything about DS games n that.

As far as I'm aware apart from 14, which is mmo anyway, FF has always been turned based. That's why I'm excited by 15

It returned back to the systems from anything before 13, Think ff7 or ff8 turn style, and that's what bravely default had. Was an amazing game, absolutely loved it.
