First map

I started learning maps last night... This is my first map, its abit bare i know, its going to be for a storyline quest in my game, hence the statue.

Any ideas on how to improve this and my map making in total?

Its meant to be a deserted/abandoned place, thats why theres so many tree's and nothing else.

kk im **** ay maps anyway, but u put i objects in which have are made for a diff floor tile, also can u walk right to edge of map?

can u post map maker u use? coz one im usie is **** and it crahsed when i filled a 500X500 map -.-

I'm using the normal map maker that was released ages ago, think its on lifco's ftp (Not shorty's)
