Gate 0 Doesn't Open - Then Advertising Box doesn't show.

I'm sure they're linked. When I run m2server.exe , the Gate 0 doesn't open, it doesnt even say anything about it. I can get in make accounts and char's fine.. but then when i click "Start" it just stays with a black screen.

Help please!

The gate can take up to 10 mins to load depending on the PC spec. Check all IPs are correct,

Is BDE Admin setup correctly?
Is the server responding?
Is the dbsrv saying Disconnected or connected?
Have you checked the set-up.txt for incorrect paths?

Is the server responding? - Dont understand, it is moving etc and stuff. And I can make accounts and characters

ok show me your !setup.txt in PM if not post, have you hex edited you m2server? where did you obtain it?

i had that, i had 2 re-install files, then it fixed it

Was gonna say that next >.<. Nevermind. Just jump the gun - re-install it, don't forget to backup your work (NPCs/Spawns you've added).
