you got the ports forwarded properly? If your server pc has the lan ip 192.168.0.3 then the ports have to be forwarded to that address. Well thats how i set mine up as my lan ip seems to change whenever the router is rebooted.

There are settings on the router and windows to always use the same ip address m8.

You could do it by entering the IP manually in connection properties or if you scout around your router settings there is a better way to do it just look for "Use Static Ip" or something similar

so if i set my static ip on the netgear router settings, then change all ip's to that static router ip address in the server files it should work ?

Gamegate folder config file

[GameGate]
Title=Diamond <----- change to your server name

GatePort=7200
ShowLogLevel=10
ShowBite=0
ServerCheckTimeOut=180000
ClientSendBlockSize=500
MaxConnOfIPaddr=50
BlockMethod=0
MaxClientPacketSize=6420
NomClientPacketSize=190
MaxClientMsgCount=100
kickOverPacket=1
ClientTimeOutTime=5000

Login server folder - addrtable txt file

Diamond Diamond 127.0.0.1 your external ip your external ip:7100

(change server names to yours , change internal ip to yours)

M2server folder

runaddr txt file

your external ip

servertable txt file

; Followings have to be arrayed by server no.
;server no. connect-addr port
0 external ip 7200

this will get the server online, all the other ips in the files need to be set to your internal ip, 127.0.0.1 or 192.168.*.* if on a router or left alone if they display 0.0.0.0

for lan playing you need the files above to have your internal ip on them 192.168.*.* and ports wil still need to be forwarded , for lan play the client mir2.exe will need the internal ip in its config / ini files.

cheers

ty for info if i have any troubles ill give ya a shout lol, btw im running on a netgear router witch was supplied by post office BB all 4 prots are set so i know it cannot be port fwards so thats 1 trouble out of the way, i have been puttin 192.168.0.3 as its a router BB in one. far from that i dnno why wont let it pass because when i put different ips in i get socket error and it seems to only work with 192.168.0.3

192.168.0.3 is my ---> Ip Adreess in cmd also
subnet is ------> 255.255.255.0
and default gateway is ----->192.168.0.1

so weather im puttin all ini's as 192.168.0.3 i dont have a clue how to work around it do i have to put my www.whatismyip.com anywhere in the files it self or anything i need to add to stop it from breaking the line between the outside of the connection.
