Solved Getting Online (2.3) (Followed Guides + Forwarded ports).

Hi guys,

Ive been away from Mir for 5-6 years.

Ive made a server and want to make it available for external connection to test (ie online).

Ive followed the guide below and all IP's are correct: (int 192.168.0.4 ext 213.106.206.162)

Ive also forwarded ports 7000, 7100, 7200 and 7300 via my Virgin Media Superhub.

Now neither myself or external client connections can connect. Although last night i could connect without problems.

PS My IP hasn't changed.

What else could it be?

u made sure all ips are correct?

try them as 127.0.0.1 again and see if u can connect.

then redo ips again and see

So set all IP's back to 127.0.0.1 and retry icemans method?

Also, do i need to change ALL 'Diamond' names in the Files to my chosen name?

don't know if this works any more but its an Ip changer for 2.3

should make sure you haven't missed any ip's.

Thanks Mask, that's very useful.

I'm at the point now where i can get to the char select screen, choose my GM char (which worked prior to tonight) and then the notice with the 'OK' button doesn't appear.

that sounds as if theres a error on m2 and its not fully loaded so u cant get passed,

make sure everything is loaded then try enter ?
