i cannot deny that the 4890 is a great card..

Imho tho.. the best performance/price would be the 4850x2.. for less than a 4870/4890 you get yourself a dual graphics setup with better performance all round. ( well mostly depends on what games you play )

Have a read through that, it compares most cards on a lot of games, personally i like price performance ratio of the 4850x2 agaisnt any card on the market just now

That is an old 192 core 260, so no it isn't worth it.

Dont get the 4850 X2 either, dual GPU's don't always scale well.
