I dont think because we are using all the gates recoded..xD
but provably is a eiserver bug are kicking ppl for some reason and then the rungate execute the orders of the ei server.. ^^

for this reason in a short time we replace all the eiserver with all new.

Somewhat confused...

I can load the game up to game entry where the screen goes black. The GameGate appears to be connecting then dropping...

Check your firewall, try your ports can be accessible from outside (internet).

check the sql servergate because these files are config to use 2 gates for game scene, your gate and eiserver looks fine, if you see connection refused on your rungate its because are trying to connect to hardcoded IP and another port. (dont worry about that)

use the game1.exe from Mud3\网关\Gate2 folder

I've tried that gate. Still the same.
I've checked my router - the firewall is off.
I've checked windows firewall - its off....I've just permitted to ports for the app....

still the same....

I've checked on-line and it says the port 7201 is closed?....I'm at a loss as to what could be closing it?

put in your gate ini file the IP: 0.0.0.0 to listen to all the adapters. Save the file and try to open again the gate and test.

I notice in your setup you have advised:

TBL_ServerGate, .

0	127.0.0.1	7201
1	127.0.0.1	7202

Both gates are showing GateIndex=1.... Should Gate 1 folder (migrate.ini) have GateIndex=0?

I can get ingame now but if I enter LOST PARADISE disconnects....Only 1 gate obviously working?

Where get English .exe?

run only these programs by this order and only game1.exe gate from "gate 2" folder not any extra gates

Why can't I make items?

You need to turn the server into a mode within the Server_JOB_ItemGem.exe

When creating items and spawning monsters the input data is case sensitive. For example RazorTusk is listed in the encrypted database as 'Razortusk'.

I've noticed @ItemRemove is either not working or tempremental

Ive created a quick NPC Script to remove 'No Drop' items.

Can only use this game server is IP127.0.0.1 log in the game?
After I change the IP address, always can't enter the game, without any hint at input account and password.

game engine is like any program dev, once you have a mistake all can blow up

check that merchant error,maybe script doesnt exists in Marker_Def or you put wrong name on Merchant..example : 04Potion_Inn 0 154 222 (Potion)_Tammara 0 14 is in merchant but the name you put in Market_Def could be 05Potion_Inn-0 by mistake, or you put wrong coords that cant be found on map or are blocked by objectives

i suggest to use (local) for sql access.
and for the ei, check the path for dat file. read the guide

check your sql accessibility, sometimes is auto configured to not access using sockets, open your sql management and take a look for the first connection window, use the same info and try it. If no works the only solution is to go to system admin, search sql service config and enable the access using winsock (sockets) with the local (127.0.0.1) IP.

Reinstall SQL and work fine but eiserver not started

mir3res.dat patch is ok, all .ini files have good ip, id, and password.

This error appear when the eiserver cannot access to mir3res.dat file.
Check if the eiserver have rights, the Path are fine and check SQL config for eiserver on setup file.

If you have another problem and find the solution please post here for everyone else need in the future.
