Help Lag Issue

Hi every1 , theres seems to be a problem , when someone starts killing 30mobs or more they will all of a sudden just lag and or lag out . it doesnt happen to everyone just a few.. any suggestions ? ( ive reenacted this myself also )

if its just one cave you may have a mob with wrong race/raceimg making the mir2 exe lagout

happening in most caves ive only reenacted it in doom tho but dont think the mobs i added use magic attacks they just hit normally, i thought it cuda been sumit to do with kil quest error so took them out , no luck there tho .

i shall , dont understand why it would only happen in certain caves to certain people tho? x

post the PC specs of your host

also what SQL are you using? what OS is it using aswell

Does the client lag, or can you say still open a window in the client and stuff.

client doesnt lag. Its just mobs/player, I was getting it still do in really big groups of mobs. I Just logout and log back in but TT right away to get away from the lag.

looks like a server lag issue to me.. not a client side problem.

any specs of the hosting machine and connection line?

2gig ram , amd dual core 4400 + , 100meg line .. ran tests for 24 hours and the ram or cpu doesnt go no where near 50% usage so i dont understand really :/ .. using SQL 2000 ( was 2005 thought it could of been down to this ) and windows server 2003 . its a dedi

With the mass spawns you got going on in some caves i'd guess your need more ram.

this is the thing i thought this , i downed spawns .. same problem .. then tested on my home pc with 1.5gig and a single core .. and it was a copy of the server got 8 people to go on and they didnt lag .. and my pc is a pile of **** .. ill fiddle with spawns when i get dedi back and see what i can do .. thanks for input tho guys! x

maybe setting the affinity for the m2 server to 1 core might help ? x
