if you could give a little more info on what server files you are using that would be great.
If your using TDs files the DM2+ files:
Make sure you have the most upto date files as you must upgrade all of the exe's. Also as mentioned before check that you have set the server IPs to the right ones. (search for a 'how to get it online' guide)
If your using anyother type:
Find a setup guide for getting it online, it will help you with what IPs to change. Also what i found very helpful and still do is http://www.leocrasher.co.uk/ there you do a port check and it will let you know if cirtain gates are actually online or not. (make sure that you forward the 3000 port, so that your server can send the information out to leocrasher.
