hi

wondered if any of you could help me i have been looking on this forum for about 3-4 days now and cant find a solution to my problem so if some1 could help or point me in the right direction i would be very gratfull :)

bascily ive set up a offline server to play about with i have used 2.3 files and use sql2000 i have done everything that every1 has said and sever seems to be running fine

tho i cant get the login-sever window up for some reason also im not sure if the logdatasever is right??

but looks all fine to me my main problem is when i load my server up get to the login gate and try to make a account it comes up with "can not make account error -1" could any1 help me with this ???

i was told that i could get a app that makes a account that runs beside the sever so i can make an account without haveing to make it at the login gate is this true ?? if so any1 got any linkz ??
tho a fix for the login gate account bit would be better!

did u run M2Server.exe? i cant see it anywhere in your jpg

files u'r using 2.3 what?

u should be able to see all window's

edit the position inis for them 2 exes, there running, just off screen, doesnt help login prob tho, sry

i changed position ini for logingate and worked TY :)
i changed position ini for login srv and still decides to go off screen :S

login problem really doing my nut now been trying to work this out all week going insane lol

also just got a message from the login srv pop up saying invalied file name ??? any help on that ?

Invalid filename means wrong filename.
Try re-naming folder and exe to LoginSrv, not Loginsrv. I had that prob before and it was down to a typo in one of the file names.
p.s. if you are just running a mess around server, you don't need LogDataServer.

cheers :) i have done this and because of this i was able to change the position so i can now see it on my screen :)

but i still can not make a account i have evan tried login-sever ID tool and typed it all out there but still nothing :(

could it be a problem in my sql database tables ???? if so any idea of where to look and how to sort it please

Check the file paths in Logsrv.ini at the bottom under [DB], e.g. mine are:
[DB]
IdDir=C:\Mirserver\LoginSrv\IDDB\
FeedIDList=C:\Mirserver\LoginSrv\FeedIDList.txt
FeedIPList=C:\Mirserver\LoginSrv\FeedIPList.txt
CountLogDir=C:\Mirserver\LoginSrv\CountLog\
WebLogDir=C:\Mirserver\LoginSrv\GameWFolder\

because my mirserver folder is in c drive, yours might be in a different place

well that didnt work :s

i am now getting conection closed and still cant make account in IDtool :s

right i got a new set of files still 2.3 but they are from a workng server and have just changed the bits that matter but now i am getting this up on my M2Sever.exe
