Is netcheck necessary?

Is netcheck necessary? I see that, everyone usin' it, but i have run 3.55 and 3.56 without netcheck. And it looks that it works, except stats, but i think it's problem in client.

So, why are you usin' netcheck? What does it givin' ?
Same with loader3g. I'm not running it as well.

What am i losing by not usin' these applications?

Without NETCHECK you get no STATS and you need the LOADER3G in order to RUN CD correctly.

And without the two, you have no live server.

Silly dumb question to ask really.

Ok, so can someone explain me, why everytime when i'm running these apps, i have to write serial, and after that i have notice, that serial is ok, and app have to be restarted? After restart, i have to type serial again... Why?

Of course i have chinese language packs installed.

mhh you should not run that aps with input password. you should open it than mark both and cloes it together than the server.exe come up and load

And sorry for my mistake. I have ignored that:

1: First things first right click on the start bar and click properties, make sure Group similar taskbar buttons is ticked (screenshot included incase you cant find it)
2:Load up Loader3g.exe it will load up a window and ask you to enter a serial
3:while holding ctrl make sure loader3g.exe is selected in the folder (i.e make sure the icon is selected and your holding ctrl), also make sure the folder is selected not loader3g otherwise the next step wont work.
4:While still holding ctrl right click on loader3g.exe on the start bar and select close group
5:The folder will close and loader3g should then load fully
6o the same for netcheck.exe

...because i was sure that is only way around to run server;p

Now stats works xD but i have next problem... But i will make other threat for that ;]

Ok, so...

I have problem with levels. I have changed max level in cruel's .ini from 65535 to 100k, but still max level in game is 65535.

And another problem is that i see in game levels to 65535 but on SelChar page i see max 255.

I think that this problem, or something like that already was on forum, but i can't find it.

I know that in old servers problem was in database, but i have level tables as Integer (4). So what's wrong?

65535 is normal, King and CD use WORD and not DWORD so 65535 is full ok.

I seen screens from some servers where ppl had levels over 100k, but i don't know what soft were on those servers...

But that would be fine for me for now... But why my max level on sel-char is 255? ;/
