item duration

ive tryed search but cant find anything.

basically is there a way, that i can put duration on an item for say a week.

after a week the item disapears?

no there is not.

only way ud be able to do it is with a variable script

well ive thought about it all before... but could never rly get it perfect

would have to be something like....

you can only rent items on a monday.

a robot runs on mon-sun, each day does a +1 global variable...

so say u have an item that lasts 3days... on the login i guess ud have some sorta script like

checknamelist 3dayitem.txt
checkvar global itemday > 3
#act
take item 1
takew item 1
sendmsg 6 "your item has been removed"

something like that i guess.. and ud have to make it non-storable/trade/sell and wot not

thats the basic idea u could use, sorta like how i do LMS for a day... would be a lot of scriptin and a lot of different items to be able to rent on anyday is what im saying

it is, in theory, do able tho.

however there is a few holes that im thinkin of... like u rent an item for mon>wed... dont log on thurs>sun and u could relog mon and would be there still
