Very good char animation for keyframed - particularly when the green thing walks in and nice particle behavior for the fire! Do you have a Kinect? If so you can use it as a motion capture suite with a free tool for motion builder. Its not perfect but gives you very good keyframes that you can use as a basis for adding additional sub animation layers.

Nice, looks pretty good.

How much are these Kinect's? was actually looking at an application which prints your hand on screen and gets you movements ect. Looked very cool.

The sensor is around £125 new, I got a second hand one with 3 games for like £90.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_Bb7mQQ41Y - A couple of clips from some simple tech demos for an exhibition and R&D project

I would recommend using the PrimeSense OpenNI middleware instead of microsofts as it supports more tracking options and there are loads of sample projects/code you can use to get started
