Morning Mirians,

We are planning to reboot the server tomorrow at 10am to apply Chronicles V3.7, downtime will approximately be 120 minutes.

Changes and additions as of Chronicles V3.7:

• More drop changes across multiple boss monsters and instances.
• Database server performance enhancements.
• Database server stability tweaks.
• CursedWitch stats increased (to bring in line with other 60+ boss monsters).
• Monk Mir items now have stats.
• Armour weight adjustments across various classes
• FateSword quest fixed for monks.
• RedMoonSword quest fixed for monks.
• Regular mobs in difficult instances no longer have drop multiplier.
• Fix for viewing other players master weapons on character view.
• Fix for PiercingShot (and other in line spells) not working in small maps (SOKS room for example).
• Fix for using complicated passwords for private instances.
• Dynamic light skip adjuster added to settings tab - Adjusting this could increase FPS for those with poor graphics cards.
• ThunderClap will no longer jump over monsters/players.
• ThunderClap will no longer cause yellow stun effect.
• ThunderClap will now hit even if jump fails.

As always let us know if you experience any issues in game, the database server enhancements have change core code (which I prefer not to change unless completely necessary).

No stun, no jumping over players, that's fine but no jumping over MONSTERS?

• ThunderClap landing inside of players and monsters fixed
• ThunderClap will no longer cause yellow stun effect

Please let us know if there are any issues as there have been some fairly fundamental changes to the database server.

There seems to be a bug. You can't gem items that are level 50+ like 51 brace, 52 neck (...)

Apologies, this was intended but I forgot to add it to the patch notes...

Instance gems/orbs (those with an i in their name), can only be used on items level 50 or below, for the higher range of items non instance gems would be required.

The download (as its a .exe file) might be getting blocked or deleted by your virus scanner or system security.
You will need to allow it or you can try downloading the patch program, details below

Latest Patcher V2.0.5: www.mirchronicles.com/download/Patcher_V205.rar

Instructions

• Download patcher.
• Create a new directory (we recommend C:/MirChronicles).
• Extract patcher into your newly created directory.
• Right Click "ChroniclesPatcher.exe" and select Run as Administrator.
• Wait for the patcher to patch.

well he gave part of the trade upfront so it seemed quite trusting, then went i sent my end £ he logged off. a few days alter he logs on and says it was his mate who did the deal. after i shout in town he admits it was him but refuses to complete his end of the deal

While we don't object to people using their own £££ to trade ingame we have always stated that it is 100% at your own risk and we do not get involved in such transactions.

Ok so the blue banner appearing every hour saying Gold selling will result in kicks and bans is false?

Is scamming of any kind allowed ingame? never mind scamming for £, im now £30 down and the guy who has my money is in town gloating, there is also now comments from other people saying he scammed them too.

I used to think this server had high morale standards but it seems they have slipped, whats next the GM's selling gold?

I see posting someones bank details as personal... Please don't post them again. You got scammed, and I feel for you but that's always the risk when buying anything ingame.

Sorry for being dumb but how was the money moved from player to scammer ?
If its a card it can be handled by the card company and if it's Paypal, you can contact them too, and get it stopped/reversed.
