This seems like the most appropriate forum for this...
Well I always seem to be gettin useful stuff from this forum and I never have anything to give back, so I have decided to have a crack at learning C++.
I am already familiar with programming as I am quite competent with VB.NET, but my interest lies in C++.
So anyway, if anyone has any good recommendations for online tutorials, e-books, or books to buy I'd be grateful if you could let me know, as I have no idea where to start with C++.
My main goal is to try and get really in-depth with the Mir source code which I've seen around (it's all in C++ I believe?), and hopefully see if I can do anything with it later down the line.
Thanks for any recommendations / advice.
Penance.
P.S Sorry if this is in the wrong place, and can a MOD please move this post if it is :ums:
