Any1 got a clue how to fix this?

looks like your using holley yes? if so, have u made sure uve named ur magic hl_magic and not just magic?

Yes i am using holly.
There is only 1 table for magic right and its called? hl_magic .
Unless there is another 1 that has to be renamed i think i got the name right.
But still getting this error

use the translated magic.db from this post and just renamed it to hl_magic, shld work fine.

i was using that magic..
i find it a bit compilicated though...1ts this 2nd that...sounds easy but where do put those files exactly(with paths).

from the pm you just sent me..

delete your hl_magic table, and import the table im sending you from access.

its quite straight forward to import data.

right click on any table in there.

all tasks -> import data.

data source is access, put no password.

data destination is sql.

tick the magic table.

import.

make sure you delete hl_magic table first though, or it will mess everything up.

Now i dont get an error with transulated hl_magic
but skills ingame doesnt work nor transulating books.

Any clue m8?

goto crueldragon3g.ini in mud3 folder.

look up

MagicSkill=

make sure the whole line says

MagicSkill=(

then in the shop your books shld b called

fireball

and the books you use to train shld be called.

fireball(manual)

should I also change something in the bookconvert.txt btw?

cuz I think it refers to the chinese book en manual names

yeah u need to translate all the npcs yourself.

and look for...

if u cant find magicskill, just search the right line.

if magicskill line isnt there. delete crueldragon3g.ini and run the server, it shld come back and magicskill shld b there in english.

Then ini full again but still without magicskill=(

then u havnt got holley 3.38 in. if def comes back in english with 3.38, the lower versions wont have magicskill.

use this crueldragon3g.ini, shld run just fine. remember to change your ip and pass.

i tried that and it regenerates the chinees version Under the english version in the ini file. +magicskill=( and the line under are english(rest is chinees)

+i got gold ingame in the shape of pots...cant use em cant drop em
