Making a SafeZone.

Searched but crnt find a decent guide,

neways anyone no how to make parts of a map SafeZone
like bw ect..

tryed that thing in the m2 but dunt seem to do owt

neva done it b4 so i aint got a clue

im not sure myself but try looking in the sql in the map info where u put ur made maps not sure if u can put command at end like day and night and such , u might be able to change it a little , to be a safezone , just a wild guess sorry if its wrong but thats my guess lol

One way of doing it.

In your Envir Folder find the SafePoint.txt file. inside that u need to put;

N001 50 50 (Make sure you put this at the top of the file.)

so, N001 is your map. and 50 50 is the coordinates that your safezone will start from.

Now in your M2Server/Setup.txt

search for ; SafeZoneSize=30 this means that on your map starting from coordinates 50 50, the size of your safezone will be 30 all the way around. So change that to fit it to your server.

Am using 2.3 files. So there no startpoint.txt in envir. Would i just add it to end of startpoint in databases.

i thought the size of the SZ was from the coords to the edge? not from corner to corner :s

TBL_STARTPOINT ... enter map number + cords

eg:

0 300 300

thats made a safezone in bichonwall at those cords, edit how big you want safezone in setup.txt

so does this mean if you put it in startpoint you could randomly start there aswell is there no way to stop this then ?/

can this sz not be edited in the map editor ?

i think its setting SZ flags im sure i seen it before may be wrong

No, coords put into TBL_STARTPOINT will act as town tele spots, and also makes that area a SZ, it doesn't mean a starting out point for new characters.(See !SETUP text to set those areas.)
SZ's can't be made with a map editor, Setting coords in TBL_STARTPOINT is the only way to make sz's using td's files.

how big is your map if you got safzone 1000 sqaurs dont forget this will apply to all maps if im correct.
