i put map edit in my legendof mir data folder and when i started it up i got this error :/

u mean that green parts on the map ? if yes it means somethink like here u can /can´t walk or here u can/can´t teleport i do not know ur version of mapedit but the green parts are placec where something works or works not and u can change that. btw thats only one possibility to view u can change that u see all the map without that its only to say the map here this is allowed or forbidden.

Erm you have the wrong mir.set file... Has this map edit gone into a freshly installed data folder?

I had the same problem, but I was using the 1.4 files with a 1.9 mapeditor. Which client are you using?

im using mapedit 1.9 and client 1.9 i think but when i was downloading it said mirfull.20 or something like that S:
