mir 1.9 on vista??

Does any1 know the reason and how to stop the game running so slow on vista??

my specs:
AMD Phenom 2 x2 555 processor 3.2ghz
4gig DDR3 ram
windows vista 32 bit
Nvidia Gefore GTX 460 graphics card
1TB HDD

all other games are running fine with over 100 frps including mir 3 and 2.3 but just 1.9 runs with 4-10 frps. have tried running the compatibility mode with xp sp2 and also disabling visual themes and aero and still to no avail so any light shed onto the subject will be muchly appreciated.
