Has anyone actually sucessfully hosted a Mir1.9 Emu Server on a Router?

If so, can you please specify which IP's you changed to your Local IP and which ips you change to your Global IP.

Thanks.

short and simple for now until i get free time is

Loginsrv - !addrtable.txt

(example)

;No space allowed
;Server Title Remote Public Gate...
srvname srvname 81.11.97.15 192.168.1.2 81.11.97.15:7100

dbserver - !serverinfo.txt

(example)

192.168.1.2 81.11.97.15 7200

Mir200 - !runaddr.txt

81.11.97.15

Mir200 - !servertable.txt

81.11.97.15

Rungate - Ringate.ini

(example)

[server]
Title=srvname(7200)
GatePort=7200
ServerPort=5000
index=0
Server1=192.168.1.2
Server2=
Server3=
Server4=
Server5=
ListenAddr=192.168.1.2
GateAddr=81.11.97.15
[Reg]
RegKey=0123456789
ServerAddr=192.168.1.2
ServerPort=64000

Bare in mind for this to work you need to enable DMZ to your Local IP Address (192.168.X.X) or if you can be arsed to input all the ports into the router for port forwarding, but for now the best way is to setup DMZ, make sure it works, then start blocking off ports as you go along keeping the least amount open as possible.

(also as with every router solution it prevents you from logging on locally unless you install microsoft loopback NIC Driver which will enable you to connec to your own external ip Address without causing a SOCKS Problems and generally just not working)

I'll write a more Detailed and informative Guide later (refere to my sticky to solve the problems caused by 3in1 and how to fix it (best copy to a txt document because if you get the problem you will not have internet))

All routers have a Switch inside them and it still causes problems, but if you can get away with it and it works, then cool. otherwise there would be so much data waste, it would send all the requested data to all the connected PC's which... sucks.
