[Sanity]

The Procedure entry point _except_handler4_common could not be located in the dynamic link library msvcrt.dll

I get this when i start up NFS Most Wanted, anyone seen it before?

I tried replacing msvcrt.dll with a updated one which completely messed up my system files.

Also tried deleting dwmapi.dll which i don't have.

These are the 2 popular solutions i come across while searching.

Currently doing sfc /scannow to restore dll files back to original.

Normally caused when developers use a different/older version of msvcrt.dll, are you on the latest service pack?

Normally caused when developers use a different/older version of msvcrt.dll, are you on the latest service pack?

I tried all the solutions i found on google but nothing worked, at the time i was on Windows XP SP3, i read that it could of been replaced by a Vista version msvcrt.dll so i tried changing it back to windows xp sp3 version but still didn't work. I changed to windows 7 shortly after.
