any help with this problem plz

I thought you have setup some mir3s before?
You will never see many things in the future. Better title next time.
did you follow the guide?
did you import your cd3gbasedata?
edit cd.ini (eg. 127.0.0.1, sa, sapass)

make sure the names all relate to one another. Must all relate to what the CD3G db is called.

Check your OBDC

The IP in CD.ini must be the name of your SQL Instance, thats why you get this Error, or Pass and ID is wrong, change them and it will work..

Here look and compare
Translated into English

CD.ini
[The game establishes]
Server IP=(local) This is the Ip address where SQL is this also can be 127.0.0.1
Lands the account =sa <<< if you have not set it up correcly it wont work
Lands the password = passssss <<< make sure this is correct

Also in !Setup.txt

Check all ips are this

127.0.0.1

And also the passwords are the same

ODBC

When your making Server connections ( data)

Did you change them from Defult after you put you user name and pass word in??

After you log in there is a check button at the top saying Defult Uncheck it and then look for the DB you are making the Connection for

It also could be your firewall that is blocking the connection

Also have added you to msn as asked on Private message

that means your sql server is not listening to tcp port standard is 1433

2 tasks

open enterprise manager
right click your sql server (windows nt)
properties
general tab
click network configuration
tcp/ip should be on the right side
highlight tcp/ip and properties the number inside should be 1433 don't hide server
restart sql server if you made changes

upgrade your sql server to SP4. (old sql installation disables tcp)
